I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this Hampton was compared to the other Hamptons we've stayed at. The room was nice and clean and it looked as though it had been recently updated with granite and tile. They also had a charging station for our iPhones and iPads that included a USB port. They offered free wifi and you could upgrade to a faster version for a small fee. We used the free and it worked fine to download games to my sons iPad.
Breakfast was a nice treat, we made our own waffles on their waffle makers. They also had omelettes that we split.
All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. You could tell that they enjoyed working there. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Monroe.
To the reviewer that said they were on holiday and complained that they slept in (on those coarse sheets you wrote about, how did you get any sleep) and missed the free 6-10am breakfast, then you complained about something else and got a free room and still had the nerve to write a bad review?! Who takes their family on HOLIDAY to Monroe NC?! Was Wadesboro all booked up? Bless your heart
