Don't let the beautiful building fool you! The other reviews seem valid. The care and food are sub par. No snacks are served, the dining room is slow and the food is often cold. Upper management does not care about complaints as they are seldom addressed. There is a high amount of employee turnover and the receptionists (except for a few) for the most part are rude. If I could give less than one star I would. The assisted living side has very little help. The person who runs it is not an RN just an LPN and the rest are med techs or caregivers.This makes it hard if any health issues arise with a loved one. Medications are often given late to the residents. Care plans are not done on time and the end of the year surveys which are supposed to be mailed to the corporate office are turned back into the facility. The staff members are sometimes rude to the residents treating them like children. I once witnessed a staff member reprimand a resident as if they were a naughty child. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the activities people are all really sweet and make you feel welcome. They do try to keep the residents busy. I was not certain about care homes and thought this was the normal care experience. In my opinion, I can say now after doing research and talking to several people who have family members in other places that this is a very poorly run building. We are much happier with our new care home for our loved one.
