I went to This Is London one night for some event that was being hosted by my friend's promo group. It was an all-Asian night/my friend belongs to an Asian promo group. I can say that I will DEF NOT be going to one of these EVER again.
The music was pretty crappy. Top 40 and a random pitch of your standard reggae tunes that night-riding Asian women love to whine to.
The crowd? Asian, young, and pretentious. Oh, and there was a handful of attractive black men that had a case of yellow fever. I'm just not into the whole scene/crowd of people that were there. Not really my thing.
Poor customer service. Bartenders don't pay attention to you/serve you unless you look like you're rolling in cash. Sorry, I don't like to flaunt it in designer belts and bags like the rest of the crowd that night- doesn't mean I don't have a substantial amount of cash to blow. Not really down for showing out.
Meh, I won't be back. IMO, the club scene is really lame in Toronto.
