I would go back and give them another chance. We set the bar high and were looking for a 5 star resort experience and it missed but not by much. I was with a high maintenance group though too. We think after being bought by the omni it has changed, integration problems maybe. So I think they just need to tighten up a little which hopefully they do because it's a nice property with great scenery and views.
Spa was a great value though, only $25 for a day pass. Steam room is roasting hot, almost unbearable which is how I like it.
The day beds on the patio were awesome for lounging and having your morning coffee and catching some sun.
Didn't eat there either. Great location, close to camelback and Scottsdale, etc.
