Booked a one night stay at the hotel that was for their Wi-Suite. Greeted at the door by an attentive and friendly doorman. The lobby was nice but does not exude luxury or upscale. Had a suite on the 14th (actually 13th) floor that was right near the elevators----basically 2 adjoining rooms were they removed the bed from the first room and replaced it with a sofa and desk/chairs. Room looked old and tired and definitely not what I expected but this is an "historic" hotel so if you like that when traveling this room might be for you. Wi console was available in the sitting room and had Wi-Sports and Wi-Fit programs available----battery was running low on the remote so I'm not sure if they check it or wait until someone reports it to have died. Bed was quite comfortable but duvet was extremely warm and we had to have the a/c on all night which was very loud and didn't necessarily cool us that much. Location is good just right off Dundas Street and close to Eaton Centre and Dundas Square (TO's version of Times Square). Didn't eat at the hotel as it looked overpriced but there is a decent Chinese restaurant just across the hotel called Garden that is quite reasonable and good. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again given the high price as there are definitely better looking hotels in town----more for people who like to stay in older/historic hotels.
