This is my first ever Yelp review, and also a public service announcement to anyone who purchases a Groupon for this establishment.
Firstly, the haircut by Cindy definitely satisfied my expectations. She somehow managed to soften the broom-like consistency without any form of treatment, which I do appreciate.
Unfortunately, the dye job was abysmal. Abysmal. Combined with one of the surliest receptionists I've ever encountered, my overall experience was generally negative.
I showed Cindy several images of how I wanted the highlights to look, and she hardly took notice. I requested caramel, and received brass. To make matters worse, the colour somehow bled into the rest of my hair, resulting in a puddle of dull brown beneath my copper streaks.
Suffice it to say that I have an appointment at a different salon this evening. I've kept this dye job for a week, and I no longer wish to be the butt of my friends' jokes.
Heed the warning!
