As the Mayor of all things great in in Lakewood, I find Moons food store as the number one neighborhood store. Moons food store begins with his family of customers. When I shop I always take notice to people who remember their regular customers. At Moons you are welcomed by your first name!
The store carries chips, beverages, wine, ice cream, medicine, bakery, sandwiches,news papers and much more. The store comes under the category of convenient store even though there are other stores on the same corner. but I'm sure most people go into Moons just to go to Moons, say hello, tell a story or maybe, like me, I have been going there for 20years or so.
