I was referred to them by Costco. I had called to tell them my problem & asked for a quote. I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander. Their quote was almost half of what the Toyota Dealership gave me. Anyways, I had to a diagnostic for battery & alternator from AutoZone. It showed that my battery was good, but needed a charge. The alternator failed. When I spoke with Dan at Allied, he told me to get the battery change first bc a bad battery can sometimes cause a bad reading on the alternator. Then he said to come by after and he will do a new diagnostic on it. I got the battery changed with Costco (still under warranty) and went to Allied. Dan checked my alternator & said it was fine. He did not try to sell me on it. Then, I asked him to check my oil. He did and told me it was still good. So, I ended up not actually doing any service with them, but the fact that they didn't try to sell me, I was highly impressed. Honestly, they could have and I wouldn't have known any better bc I was set to get my alternator change based on the initial diagnostic. I will definitely go to them for any mechanic work needed in the future.
