I fully expected a generic "do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband..." What we got instead was an absolutely amazing ceremony that was far more beautiful and special than most "real" weddings I've been to. There seriously wasn't a dry eye in the house. We got one of the most basic packages and were initially slightly disappointed that there were add on fees for just about everything. However, after the ceremony, we couldn't have been more happy that we had chosen the Bellagio. Nearly every guest has commented on how amazing the minister was--you'd have thought he'd known us our whole lives instead of the 3 minutes he'd spent with us prior to the ceremony. Many of our guests felt compelled to approach him and speak with him after the ceremony. The photographer was amazing and our pictures were so unbelievable that we unexpectedly yet happily shelled out a whole bunch of money so that we could have the images to cherish for a lifetime. The photographer's cell phone DID go off during the ceremony, but the photography studio compensated us with a very nice discount on our pictures so I got over it quickly. Added note: I have now seen other photography from weddings at The Bellagio and am no longer as impressed with ours as others' pictures have turned out even better. I have received a few messages asking about cost. We did actually spend $1800 on photographs of all sorts and a disc of all the images. That was definitely an unanticipated cost so something you may want to prepare for! Another bonus is that the ceremony was broadcast on the internet so friends and family all over the world who were unable to physically join us were able to watch the ceremony in real time. They said it was so great it was almost as good as being there!! I can't say enough as I couldn't be happier about the wedding experience we had at The Bellagio. I'd love to go back and do it all again! :) VERY highly recommended!!!
