On my first visit, the bartender/waiter Brian welcomed with a smile and a handshake. After a few visits, I have become a fan of this quiet and rustic place. On weekends, I sleep in and visit Fibber Magees around mid day for breakfast to watch some game or have my quiet time and hearty breakfast. I love their traditional Irish breakfast that goes well with Irish coffee. The breakfast comes with 3 kinds of sausages and a Bacon, beans or mashed potatoes, grilled tomatoes with some type of great tasting traditional bread.
This week, he said he has improved his Irish coffee recipe and showing it off to everyone while he scored to more orders from the girls who were watching. Apparently, there are two versions - The guys' version has floated heavy cream (very slightly whipped) and girls version has fully whipped cream (like Reddi Whip). I think Brian added some Irish mist on top.
