Extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and unsafe environment. Most terrible salon experience ever. I agree with most reviewers, if there was a NO STAR review, would choose that any day. Took EIGHT hours for a job that looked terrible, student did not even know how to wash hair, I was dripping wet in my clothes and student got dye in my eyes. She had NO KNOWLEDGE about first aid. Luckily being a doctor, I could take care of myself. You could easily have corneal abrasions and compromised vision for life and they have a couldn't-care-less attitude. Student threw a fit at me at the end of 8 hours when I was wet with a red eye and bad hair color; she asked me to fill her evaluation mid way through hair drying I refused to fill it and she actually refused to dry my hair! And then went and made jokes at me with other student-friends of hers. Educators thought of that as acceptable behavior. Not to mention, none of them knew how to mix colors or get anything right. They are bad at work and lack basic humanity. The student working on me, Mia Alexander (that's what she told me her name was), should not even be allowed to graduate! She is absolutely the most undeserving student I have ever encountered, in any profession. Add dangerous, unsafe, rude and insulting to that. I have been getting my hair highlighted since the last 2 years, never took more than 45 minutes to complete the job and make me happy at my regular NYC salon. Moved to Cleveland recently, this salon was close to my house, products looked fancy and I thought it's good to help students in training. This is an unsafe and insulting environment. I left physically crying and no one felt even sorry. Not to mention the amount of money they made me pay for their unprofessional, undesirable and dangerous service. I am so appalled, hurt and upset. Cleveland is a nice city and people like them donot deserve to work here or hurt clients at a so called 'salon'. Not ONLY are they bad at work; they lack basic humanity.
