I LOVE this place, and you soon will too! Bloom has easily become my favorite breakfast/bakery spot to visit in Madison for so many reasons. For one, every item they make there is incredibly delicious. Their cupcakes (almond raspberry rose and carrot cake I've had so far) are always moist and topped with the perfect amount of the creamiest frosting, the popovers are airy and eggy, and the biscuits and gravy are to die for. Oh, and those sweet potato donuts are perfection -- as a self-proclaimed sweet potato fanatic, these things undoubtedly belong in my version of heaven. I seriously can't get enough. Secondly, every staff member there is so kind and attentive to the customers. Anne Marie works so hard to make sure that everyone that visits is having a pleasant experience, and I love how she takes the time to have a conversation with you even when the place is busy. Lastly, the place itself is so darn cute and cozy -- it just draws people in, and keeps them coming back! The location is great - plenty of places to park nearby, and right across the street from Trader Joe's and next to many other cute shops that are specific to Monroe Street. Never change, Bloom!
