Okey I just cancelled my membership, like just now. The reason being that their front desk's poor choice of wording to say to me as a client:
I have been practicing in the studio for almost 8 months, like some of their teachers very much and it makes me feel a little bit sad now I have chosen to leave them T^T
Today, with the snowstorm in Toronto in April, I decided to come to the studio to practice. I was late, yes, for 2minutes, i asked the front desk if I can still join the class, because the weather is really bad and I tried my best to be on time,( I mean if I was 5min late I won't even ask to join but it is a god damn 2 mins late in this bad weather condition.
I was told I could not get in, then I tried to say it's 2 min late and the weather is realllly shit, I was not expect to hear what i am about to hear:
So basically they said it's the last call, and I have been late for many times prior to this class, they have told me not to be late..... I was like......... omg...... what did they just say?yes, I am a frequent practicer here and I have been always be on time for classes but I am not what they are saying to me like a late comer. just because I practiced a lot, they have been seeing my faces a lot DOESNOT mean I am late for classes!?(what's that logic) it really pisses me off first because of the bad weather condition and second because of their reason for not being considerate to their clients. They have been allowing people to come in if it is 1-2min late most of the time, that I know cuz I have friends telling me this.
Why are they trying to screw me in this bad weather frame me by giving me such a bad comment about not being punctual where I have been always on time!
I like the teachers but I think the way they communicate with me on this issue pisses me off a lot.
