We called Automatic Gate Systems to replace our gate opener. When the technician showed up he stated that the slab had to be extended and left after a few minutes. We called them to make another appointment. Next appointment was a week later. Technician needed a little bit over 2 hours to install the gate opener. Gate opener stopped working after a few days and when we called we were told that they would not give any warranty if the new gate opener was not purchased from them. (of course, this was not explained when we made the appointment). Someone would call us back to make a new appointment. This never happened. When we received the bill, it showed a $ 85,- "service call" charge, + 1/2 hour @ $ 95,-/ hour for the few minutes when the technician came the first time and 2.5 hours for the second visit. When we called we were told that they always round up the billed time to 1/2 hour but they were willing to take the time for the first appointment off. Technician was very friendly and professional.
