Having been to other swap meets here I had low expectations going to Thieves Market for the first time. I expected it to be a lot of crafty junk and knockoff handbags. But I figured it's only a dollar so no big loss if it's a bust. I was happily surprised to find a lot of actual vintage items there! There was a lot of cool furniture, lamps, clothes, kitchen stuff, and trinkets to rummage through. And yes, it's used. I have to laugh at the reviews that were annoyed at the fact it's almost all used stuff. It's a flea market - that's the idea! A good portion of it was pretty overpriced though so that was a bit of a bummer. But since each booth was manned by a different person, that of course varied depending on what you were looking at. And I did overhear one woman try to haggle and fail so I'm not sure how big haggling is here although I would think most vendors would be open to it. It took my boyfriend and I about an hour or so to walk through the whole thing. I bought a pair of earrings and he almost bought some car stuff but decided against it. So we didn't come out with an awesome haul or anything but I would definitely check it out again.
