I came here to see Da Vinci-The Genius exhibit which is a walk through tour that offers some hands and visual displays of Da Vinci art and inventions. This exhibit was wonderfully laid out to take you thru 13 themed exhibits showcasing Leonardo da Vinci as a artist, inventor, sculptor, engineer,anatomist, musician and architect.
The exhibit displays were wonderful replicas of his inventions, sketches and art. The way it was laid out took you thru his life span and tells his fanscinating story. The walk thru took me a good 1 and a half to go through and I could have did a easy 2 hours if I allowed myself to slow down and go at my own pace and not let others detour me. This exhibit will be ending Jan 27th and I look forward to the new exhibit that will be replacing this one. A cautionary note to people who like to grab something from the gift shop...it's lacking in the da Vinci goodies. I was hoping to walk away with a fun da Vinci item but I really found nothing that would make me giddy enough to buy it. Over all I would love to see this exhibit once more before it leaves here for good .
