The first stop on our club tour, I'm glad we didn't pay to get into this place. The drinks were very overpriced (thankfully they gave us 2-for-1 tickets outside). We were only there for 45 minutes and it felt way too long. The whole place (which isn't saying much- it's tiny) had a very snooty vibe. I overheard a bartender telling someone they 'don't do glasses of water.' He explained they only did bottled water... For $7. It made me not even want to use my 2-for-1 ticket. After being completely ignored while sitting at the bar right in front of the bartender for a half an hour, he finally took our order and got us our drinks. They felt very weak, and were also really small. I know this is not a 'club.' It's a 'lounge' but I have been to lounges and they don't have to be this snobby. The music was really loud considering the fact that the dance floor seemed designed to make people feel uncomfortable trying to dance. Some of the people we talked to in the bar seemed to agree that the place wanted to be high class but isn't. Soon after we got there the place got jam packed with people and it was hard to move around. I will not be back to Gold Lounge
