Ok my experience with this company was a nightmare. I used them via AAA. First they couldnt find my car I was south bound on the freeway about 10 miles from St Rose. The driver calls and all he says is "Are you alone" being a small woman it thru me off a little. My fiancé was with me so I was not alone. He was asking cause he brought some guy with him to the tow and there was only room for 1 person. When they did find my car they cinched it onto the flat bed. I am following behind in my fiances truck. They did a illegal u turn on the freeway to switch from south bound to north and for some reason I decided to switch on my GPS. We had only traved 2 miles from where I was picked up if that. Close to my drop off location I get a call from dispatch saying I was towed 29 miles. My GPS said 9... They tried to charge me 240$ for a 13 max mile tow and thats me being nice cause the tow was closer to 10 miles. They tried to charge me the full distance that they avoided with the illegal u turn on the freeway. Once at my repair shop the awesome guys at Purrfect Auto got them to drop my car. I was on the phone with AAA cause I knew there was no way I was towed 29 miles AAA tried but they insisted that this amount was correct. I talk to the driver and tell him I am only giving him 40$ and thats being generous it was double what AAA quoted me. He now tells me 90$. Their dispatch has GPS on the tow trucks so they saw the illegal u turn and tried to charge me the full amount. The driver agrees to 40$ so I leave and let my shop deal with the rest of the mess cause I didnt want to. My shop calls the towing company cause the driver would not give them a receipt for the 40$ and dispatch now tells my shop its 90$ the actual amount I should have been charged to start with cause thats the distance I was towed. Not 240$ for 29 miles. This whole thing was just so shady. They kept changing the price they told me I was towed 29 miles and tried to lie. I thank the driver he did work with me but I feel as if this isnt the first time they tried to rip people off for a tow. Be warry if you HAVE TO USE FOR A TOW USE GPS. Avoid if possible.
