I started seeing Dr. Lee once I moved to Arizona. I chose him out of necessity because I needed it and he had immediate appointments. It's very easy to schedule an appointment with him. I've thought of him as an okay doctor as I went to him when I was sick and he would put me on antibiotics. I've always been reasonably healthy so I was fine with him. Every time I saw him he did try to sell me on his allergy treatment which was always irritating.
Today I've decided to stop going to him as a patient. I was doing an activity and fell down and heard a few cracks in my ribs. I've been in a ton of pain and I want to get X-rays done. I called his office to get me a referral somewhere but he refused to and wanted to see me first. His excuse on why he needed to see me was because he hasn't seen me since October 2016. That was just 3 months ago?! I have no interest in paying him a fee just to tell me what I already know.
When I talked to them I even threatened that I'd no longer be a patient if they couldn't get me this referral. Dr. Lee didn't seem to care. This was seriously disappointing as my wife was going to join his practice as well.
They have lost a good customer and a new customer all because he wanted to collect an office visit fee. Honestly - do some research and find a doctor who cares more about his practice then his wallet.
