I've always heard, don't trust a used car salesman. Well... don't trust what Equity Auto Center has to tell you. I had a particular car in mind and wanted to go by to check it out. I called and spoke with a "Juan" regarding the availability of the car. He confirmed that the car was available. I arrived about an hour later and no Juan (one... I made a funny. lol) worked there and the car has been sold. The salesman apologized and said that he was so embarrassed that happened. Hrmmm... I'm sure that was a lie. A"bait and switch" tactic? We were then told that it takes 1-2 weeks after the car is sold before it's removed off of their website. Fine, but they should know if the car is available when I call, right? Before we test drove any car, they said they may be able to work on the price. We were interested in one of the cars and they told us that there's no wiggle room whatsoever. Anyway, they purchase their cars from auctions and from rental companies so you'll have dings, dents, and scraps. I would suggest to check the car out very thoroughly because I doubt you're going to get any help after the purchase. I would never buy a car from this place.
