This shop was recommended by my Mechanic for a set of 4 new tires and a four wheel alignment. My total bill was just over $700. The price, quality and workmanship seemed fine at the time.
However, when my Mechanic began work on my car, he noticed clear tape and a blue silicon glue around my center hub of the left front wheel.
Since he had a long-standing relationship with the owner, Shannon, he asked me to call him about the wheel. Turns out it was broken then taped and glued.
When I very calmly questioned him about the broken hub and attempted repair, he came unglued! He told me that the hub was already broken when I brought the car in and his Mechanic had told him about it. He also said they do not have any blue silicon glue in his shop. I just wanted to know why it was not mentioned to me before I left the shop.
My Mechanic told me he didn't notice this until he began to remove the wheel (he worked on the car prior to going to Nevada Tire City). Also, my wife nor I noticed this before either.
The shop owner continued his defensive tirade and angrily offered to pay for another hub. He contacted a second-hand hub cap shop who didn't know if he had one that would fit.
Although I purchased a Road Hazzard Warranty through this shop and was offered free tire rotations every 5,000 miles, I want nothing more to do with them. I Also ordered a new hub from someone else.
Although the owner insisted that the issue was the cost of the hub, my issue is their dishonesty and lack of integrity. If he would have simply been honest and told me they had broken the hub, it would have been fine.
