I notice stuff. I've been here dozens of times over the years and the owner seems to recognize I am a repeat customer. Sitting here today enjoying my sliders I hear the phone ring and he answers and says, I have a line at the register, are you phoning in an order. Then he says, I'll have someone get your call as soon as I can and puts them on hold. How many times have you been standing in front of someone to be helped and the phone rings and all of the sudden you just got bumped while their issue is handled before yours? I enjoy the food and really appreciate the attention to and awareness of what is right. I'm not from Chicago and given its current state of crime and violence, I'm good coming here for a sammich.
