After moving, I found that they were no longer the lowest price for me. Cancelling was simple and painless. Although they needed it in writing, email, text, or a letter were all an option- no notarized letter or certified mail or signing in person required like some other insurance companies have done. A simple text was all that was needed, and funds were returned electronically- no paper check, no outrageous fees. It turns out that when my change of address was processed a few days later, it electronically reactiviated my account and policy- but they were proactive, noticed it right away, and made sure it was cancelled again for me- other companies would have kept it active and kept charging me.
