I have been renting from Beat the Bookstore for the past 3 years. Since the very beginning they have been on point with whatever materials that I needed for my classes. The process that I do each semester to ensure that my books will arrive on time is e-mailing them my class schedule after enrollment or within the first week of summer/ winter break. After, you'll receive confirmation once an employee has reviewed your list. Once they receive your books they will notify you via phone or e-mail. They are serious when they claim that their books are cheaper than the other bookstores because I remember observing another costumer explaining to them that she has found a cheaper book. The employee looked it up to match the price and in this case they were able to provide her with a better deal. They are great at communication, every summer I always request my books early so that I could get ahead of my classes and they have no problem with that. When you pick up your book they go through the books you rent thoroughly, (I take me time to ensure I get down every damage before renting) and they are very patient! I always rent out 6-8 books per semester and my total is no more than $300 ($600-$800 if I went to other bookstores). However, the only problem is their long line. Of course, it is given for a popular, cheap bookstore to be packed but the store is small, which leads to a line outside. During the summer and fall semester time is bad so I suggest when renting with them to request books to be picked up early, so that long lines are avoided.
