I recently was in town for a friend's wedding near Uptown and stayed at the Courtyard. That proved to be a great choice. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Because the wedding was in the afternoon, I requested an early check in via the Marriott app. My room was ready well ahead of time. By the way, check in and check out was a breeze with the app.
I visited the fitness center while I was at the hotel, and I would stay it was a little bigger than most hotels in the same class with the standard equipment.
Self parking for the hotel was available in a garage attached to the hotel. Cost was $12/night which was lower than other nearby hotels.
I thought the room was a little small, but overall was everything I needed for a one night stay.
I'll definitely plan to stay here again on my next visit to uptown Charlotte.
