This is my first time visiting a Pure + Simple location after hearing positive feedbacks from my friend. I went for the Pure + Simple Facial and for $79 you definitely get the worth out of it. It consists of a basic cleansing, steaming, two target treatments for your skin concern, a simple head & shoulder massage, and a hydration mask. As someone who goes for monthly facial treatments and likes to try new places, I could tell that my aesthetician was very professional. Her diagnose of my skin conditions was spot on, and her massage and extraction was gentle without any pulling or forcing.
The place seemed pretty clean and well maintained. I also really liked how they eliminate paper use by opting for hand towels in their bathrooms.
One thing I did not like though, as some other reviewers have mentioned, is that the aestheticians try too hard to sell the products that Pure + Simple carries. My aesthetician began recommending me products BEFORE we even started steaming my face. If the customers are interested in the products that were used during the facial, I am sure that we would ask. I wish in the future the aestheticians would be trained to do less promotions, especially when customers haven't shown any interest.
In one word, if you can undergo all the promotion talks during your facial, go for this place as they do follow professional practices.
