I have been coming to MacAlpine's for about 10 years, maybe more. I go with my girlfriends for a fun lunch, I go with my husband and we take out of town guests here. The antiques are great, the people are great and the food is so comforting. This most recent visit my friend and I ordered a Reuben and Sloppy Joe and each had half of the other's sandwich. It's all so good we couldn't decide! I also had a praline soda. That decision took me forever because they have so many fun flavors to choose from. My sandwich was perfect - and I am from New York. I know Reubens! The Sloppy Joe was tasty and just a little sweet. I love everything they make. The servers are always sweet and polite. We really enjoy that they wear all 50's style outfits and keep this fun, throwback atmosphere in the place.
