I had the pinakbit and pork kare kare. If I was blindfolded and had to guess the food I ate, it would be easily identified. So the truth to the story is,- they are just another Filipino food joint on the side of the road. Nothing really stood out. OK, well maybe just the ambiance... it will forever remind me of the last diner on that rundown part of town.
