I can't believe after all the years I've lived in Madison...that I just made my first visit here. We went last Sunday when the weather was beautiful, and besides the parking nightmare, it was glorious. Apparently everyone wanted to spend their beautiful day at the beautiful park! :) Even though it was busy, it still felt very special walking around and the place is so big that it does not feel crowded. Everything was blooming and the aroma of the lilacs was just incredible! Our daughter loved the colorful trees and it was nice to walk around with her for a while, and then just find a place to sit down and let her explore. I will definitely be heading back there, and probably just making an earlier go of it next time to avoid a little bit of the chaos.
