A little over a week ago The Restaurant at Sapphire Creek Winery opened its doors to the public. According to one of the owners they served over 500 people the first weekend and this is just the "calm before the storm". The winery is a collaboration of two couples. Kathleen & Andy Dangelo and Kimberly and Jimmy Gibson.
We all enjoyed our food tonight. From the salmon entree to the burger, everything was prepared to our liking. The salads were fresh and nicely presented.
With just a week under their belt they are doing extremely well with the food and word about this venue will travel fast.
The only negative we could find was the noise level. Tonight they had a band playing and the combination of their "noise" (they weren't very good) and the overall level made it difficult to talk to one another at times. The space does not absorb sound well (a lot of glass and 28 foot ceilings). Give it a try. Ciao.
