Hundred Acres Manor is an experience that horror geeks do not want to miss out on. I've walked through the house twice and have also volunteered to work as an actor for multiple seasons. The workers are passionate about their job for sure. There are multiple different sections to the house, and I personally find the Brine Slaughterhouse to be the most terrifying and disturbing (I don't want to spoil the scare for anyone so I will not go into detail). Hundred Acres manor is a mixture of classic and awe-inspiring horror, being that the house is equipped with its fair share of chainsaws but also other tactics of terror such as voodoo. I would definitely recommend Hundred Acres because not only has it been named Pittsburgh's best haunted house, it has also been crowned one of the top rated haunted houses in the nation. The house definitely lives up to its reputation and I would encourage anyone who enjoys horror to visit this fall. Not only does it give you a good scare, but it also has quite an interesting theatrical aspect to it. The props, lighting and acting are great, not to mention how detailed and intricate their makeup and costumes are. All around, it is a great experience and it's the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date night!
