Hands down the best Mexican I have had! Ive been addicted to the green chile for about 15 years now, need it at least weekly. I laugh at the yahoos that complain about the $1 charge for chips. Im sure El Bravo has rent to pay and cant afford to give away free food. One of the reasons I love this place is the simpleness. People dont go there to party and watch tv, its regulars every night. They come for the food, period. The only time ive waited more than 10-15 minutes for my food is when they are busy, which is a good sign, good crowd means good food. 90% of the help has been there over 20 years, always pleasant. If you want chain junk go to Scottsdale. You want chain junk, go to Scottsdale. You want good inexpensive homemade food? El Bravo! P.S. Last month I saw Scarlett Johanssen and her husband Ryan Reynolds there, Steve Nash and his family are also regulars for lunch.
