I had been with Integrated Associates of Medicine since it's inception, and with Dr. Lucas, before that. I tried to stay with the practice after Dr. Lucas sold the practice. I gave the practice a chance. I liked Dr. Shipman well enough. Now Nancy and Mary, the excellent nurse practitioners are both gone. Unfortunately, the practice has all but imploded. Talking to the front desk or call center, or whatever it is, is like talking to untrained call center employees, who have no respect for the patient and do not even show common courtesy. I was placed on hold for 45 minutes, without anyone coming onto the line. I called back and mentioned that this is not acceptable, that at least they need to say it will be a very long wait. I was told "I know it IS unacceptable", and promptly placed on hold again. Eventually, someone picked up the line, and hung up on me. I gave up, and found a new primary care physician. Their office reports that they cannot even get my medical records transferred, in a timely manner, from IAM. I feel sorry for all the patients who still have to depend on this practice for their medical care. My prayers are with you. I don't know what could possibly cause a practice to go this south, in such a short time.
