My only regret about all this lasik business is that I didn't do it years ago! I started wearing glasses when I was 10 years old, and have worn contact lenses for the last 18 years.
Dr. Perry, Dr. Rainey, Dr. Wayment, and their entire office team are so kind and thorough. Everyone took the time to make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. The energy at their office is very positive (and why not- they help people see for a living!!)
I was pretty nervous before my procedure but his nurses made me feel at ease. Dr. Perry talked me through/explained the entire surgery as he was doing it, which helped me feel more relaxed.
What really stood out is that Dr. Perry called me the night before surgery and the night after- just to check in and answer any further questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients.
Right after surgery I did have light sensitivity and some pain, but they explained this would happen. I went right home after to rest as they recommended.
The best part of all is waking up from a nap just a couple of hours after surgery- and being able to see clearly without my glasses or contacts! What an amazing gift, and I'm glad I trusted my precious eyesight to Dr. Perry and the entire LasikPlus team. If you're searching for somewhere to have your procedure done, this is the one!
