I have medicare they only pay for a check up and x rays. Went there in the first week of July and was told my teeth were not in that bad of shape. Which surprised me. The x rays they took looked like I had no teeth in the front. Just dark and shadow looking. They did not 're x rays. He poked around in my mouth and said I needed a deep cleaning. I have gum disease which I already new I think it was Dr Via. The office staff gave me a sheet stating the procedure and that it costed 1200 plus but that I would only have to pay 220 and insurance would pick up the rest. I called the insurance company and they reassured me that they did not cover that. SCAM should of popped into my head right away.
I went back there about 3 weeks ago with a horrible tooth ache. They x Ray it Dr Geronimo said that I had and infection and it needed to come out. I would have to see an oral surgeon. So they set the date out 10 days later they gave me antibiotics I didn't need pain pills because I was in the ER the night before and got pain medicine from them. After the antibiotics my tooth started hurting and I called the office and they said if it kept bothering me that they would find somebody sooner but could not tell me how much it would cost to have it pulled that was up to the oral surgeon. I went in to try to get more antibiotics and pain relief and the doctor would not even come in and see me he sent his check in and said it was only going to get better once it was pulled. I thought my head was going to explode. At that time they gave me a rough estimate of $250 to $- 1500 I would like I can afford that they said you can apply for some kind of credit card that takes care of medical I knew I would not pass but they push me towards filling out the form which I did not qualify. So I went home and made some calls and garden with another Dentist Comfort Dentist. I saw that Monday thinking that was going to get my tooth pulled only to find out my tooth was still really infected which I already knew because of how I felt and they supplied me with some pain medicine and now Friday today they are going to pull it for $100. My suggestion look around trust your gut and don't put up with people trying to rip you off. I felt jerked around dismissed and very poor service they suck. Maybe they don't like dealing with the disabled I don't know. I was told that dr. Geronimo was not comfortable pulling the tooth that I need an oral surgeon which is b******* does regular dentist can pull teeth any. They knew my financial situation and did not provide me with any other solution or another dentist.
