After seeing so many positive reviews on Yelp, I decided to take my two chihuahuas to the Westlake Animal Hospital for their annual exams. We were initially greeted by Brittany Ragnoni, who is probably the friendliest person I've ever met at a veterinary clinic. We then met with Dr. Katie Rex, who was supported by a pair of caring and helpful technicians. My dogs are 13 years old and 10 years old, so I've seen a lot of veterinarians over the years but I can say that my experience with Dr. Rex and her team was hands down the best experience I've ever had with a vet. We had a long, detailed discussion about the medical history and needs of my two dogs -- and Dr. Rex was understanding, informative and compassionate. I'm sure there were other patients being seen but it felt like we were the only patient -- we weren't rushed, all of my questions were answered, and I was fully confident that Dr. Rex's recommendations were made with the best interest of my pets in mind. Dr. Rex is in a class by herself.
