I am tempted to buy Google AdWords to direct potential Allstar Moving customers to my review. People need to know how AWFUL this company is. They were completely unprofessional. We made an appointment with Allstar to move several pieces of office furniture (desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc) to a storage unit. We were given a time frame of 10AM to 12PM for the movers to show up. At 1:40PM, I called the office to ask where the movers were. Maria reviewed her records and said that the appointment was actually from 1PM to 4PM. No, Maria, I'm not an idiot. I would not be sitting at the office from 10 o'clock to wait on people who weren't going to show up until 1. Maria then calls the driver and now, the reason why they were late is because their truck broke down and they had to get a new one. But yet, I didn't get any sort of courtesy call saying that they were going to be late. So Maria tells me that they will be at the office in 30 minutes, which was at 2:15. Well, guess who doesn't show up in thirty minutes! The driver calls at 2:30 saying that he was 30 minutes away. He doesn't show up until 3:15. So, given a window of 2 hours between 10 and 12, they don't show up for more than 3 hours. Fun. I show them up to the office and show them the items that needed to be moved into storage. The driver and his helper then go back to their truck. One of my employees comes in and I ask them to stay for a bit while I run to get lunch (at 3:30!!). I see the driver and his helper just sitting in the truck. No big deal. I come back from getting lunch (20 mins, tops) and the truck is gone. No where to be seen. My employee tells me that they didn't come back to the office at all, and just took off. No phone call, no letting my employee know they were leaving, NOTHING. I call the driver and he tells me that he left to go get tools because they didn't have the equipment to move our desks. WHAT?! The company KNEW that we were moving office furniture including desks and they didn't bring the right tools? WHO DOES THAT? Oh, that's right, an unreliable, unprofessional, AWFUL company like AllStar. I told them not to come back. I was done with them. Take my advice and the advice of the other Yelpers on here... save yourself some time and DO NOT HIRE this company!
