today I received a BOA alert text while I was working. So at noon time I went to the Starmount branch on South Blvd to see what the problem is. I was told by the gentleman that the Fraud Protection Dept had put a HOLD ON MY ACCOUNT. He then took me in the office and and called the fraud dept and told me to hold on until a customer rep comes on, that never happen after almost 30 mins, he then return and ask if anyone had come on the phone yet, No one ever came on the phone, so I return back to work and tried again, unsuccessfully. I then tried again about 4p again was put on hold again waiting for a customer service rep to assist me. Then finally Stephanie answered about 20 mins later and to say the least I was furious.....I am all for SECURITY PROTECTION, but this is ridiculous! How do you LOCK SOMEONE ACCOUNT LEAVING THEM WITHOUT ANY FUND ACCESS. The fact that I had to HOLD ON FOR MORE THAN 30 MINS EACH TIME IS RIDICULOUS AGAIN. Stephanie resolution was that i could go back to the branch and get a temporary card and that a new card would be mailed to me within 3 weeks...RIDICULOUS AGAIN...or she could send me a temporary card within 3 business days....that should have been the FIRST WORDS OUT OF HER MOUTH....NOT GO BACK TO THE BRANCH AGAIN....I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT BOA ONLY HAVE (1) CUSTOMER SERVICE REP TO ANSWER CALLS.....The fact that it took me ALL day to contact the fraud dept is CRAZY!!!!! I have been with BOA for more than 20 plus years and it may be time for me to move on if this is the service that BOA provide to their customers.
