Extraordinary deep-tissue massage
There's no agenda in this review, because in fact I had an issue with this business for a little while, but thankfully it was resolved to my satisfaction and I've resumed using their service. However, after seven years in Las Vegas and many massages at many places ranging from mediocre (and overpriced) to excellent, I can say without reservation that Justin at Massage 1 gives what is absolutely the best and most effective deep tissue massage in the Las Vegas Valley.
Warning: This is not a light, relaxing, resort-style massage. If that's what you're looking for you should book with another one of their therapists. But if you can endure the assault on your muscles for an hour, the result will be everything you can hope for. Normally the effects of a good massage last about a day or so for me. After my most recent appointment with Justin, I still hadn't regained all the stress in my neck and shoulders after four days. The workout he gave my joints wasn't pretty, but I could not have asked for better results.
Massage 1 has a great system--$50 for a one-hour session, and no membership requirement (much better deal than Massage Envy or Massage Heights)--and although he's only there two days a week, if you can land an appointment with Justin and you desperately need to relieve stress, let him know you can handle it when he goes deep, and he will work wonders!
