Today I needed a massage! Thankfully I had a Groupon and Honor Your Body Wellness had an opening! This was my first massage at HYBW and I arrived at the place a few minutes ahead of time, filled out some papers, and then met with Ben, who was to do the 90 minute massage.
The room and the single heated table was comfortable and quiet, with sounds of water playing in the background. Ben worked quietly and after that initial discussion, asked only if the pressure was correct...he was intuitive and massaged out my very stiff back without the pain that sometimes I experience with a deep massage. Honestly it was one of the best massages I have had in a long time. I felt deeply relaxed afterwards and much of the pain I was feeling in my back has subsided.
The practice is in a gym rather than a 'spa', but this did not take away from the comfort of the room nor the experience. The women at the front desk was friendly, and when I came in I overheard someone thanking them enthusiastically for her great massage as she was leaving!
Like the other review, I received a coupon for a return visit, which I intend to use!
