Yesterday I took my precious Nahla in for an appointment that I had made regarding allergy treatment. She was having a moderate reaction ... and I was concerned about how I should handle the next step. They give technician support with allergy shot treatment and Dani came out into the lobby to talk with me. She spent a few minutes explaining that some of the allergy shots might cause a flare up etc. They attempted to save me the Doctor exam fee by having Dani the technician / nurse talk with me about the follow up care. I was adamant about having Dr. Hillebrand examine my dog and told them that I wanted the doctor to look at Nahla's eyes and into her ears. I was a bit emotional and somewhat curt due to a disability that I have and certainly not intentionally toward the staff but afterward I realized it. I've taken my precious Nahla here for the past couple of months and I can't say "thank you" and how much "I appreciate" the staff here enough. Every time I've been here if I ask a question about anything I either get a direct answer or the staff member will tell me that they're not sure but they'll find out. That's super impressive to me because my questions always get answered. Some veterinarians might play politics and/or place the blame on the client and/or others, not here. What I've found here is conscientious people on all levels of the staff who works here. They know dogs .... Dr. Hillebrand did the examination .. made a couple of suggestions and I left with some medicine. Yesterday Dr. Hillebrand could have suggested a steroid shot and/or any other more expensive treatment. BUT he didn't ... instead he dissuaded me from thinking about an instant solution. With his suggestions and the $12.00 medication Nahla is so much better this morning. She slept good last night and woke up perky this morning. I'm pretty shocked at some of the negative reviews on here ..... this Animal Hospital lives up to it's motto .. they really do treat pets like family. Thank you Dani, Dr. Hillebrand, Amanda, Jennifer and the rest of the staff. I'm happy that Nahla and I found Dreaming Summit Animal Hospital .........
