I have been a patient of All care for the last 3 years. After just talking on the phone with Dr. Gerace, I will be looking for a new doctor. I have never seen her personally but every time I have talked to her on the phone she is very rude. I called for a refill on a non-vital, not controlled medication (Chantix) and she told me that I would need to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Sethi, my PCP. I was more than comfortable doing this and proceeded. She told me that I had to have my annual physical which is due on 5/17. This was today on 4/15. She told me until my annual physical she would not call in a prescription for my medication. She said I was overdue, and I explained how a calendar worked to her, and that overdue would be after 5/17 if it is an annual physical. She basically told me that I had to come in and see her for a refill of a medication that I was promised by her staff would be granted. Then when I tried to schedule the appointment, she basically told me there was nothing available, and that I would have to call back closer to the annual physical time which was in a month. I work in health care and the outrageous lack of respect, and lack of compassion for a person that is supposed to be taking care of people was disgusting. I told her personally on this call that I would be looking for a new PCP due to her ignorance. Unless you want to deal with rude people and sub-par care don't use All Care, and especially don't use Dr. Gerace.
