This is the better of the two Whole Foods locations in Cleveland and, in my opinion, the best place in town to buy food you can't get directly from via a CSA. There's really not a whole lot to say; it's a Whole Foods. As is to be expected, there's a good selection of organic and local produce, grass fed meat, and all-natural and organic variants of your favourite supermarket staples. Nice wine and cheese selection, decent beer options, and a good variety of prepared foods. The bulk department is great for seeds, nuts, dried berries, and similar. The bakery staff is great and is usually willing to bake less popular varieties of bread upon request while you wait. Lots of people complain that Whole Foods is too expensive, and while you certainly can blow your entire paycheck here without much trouble, most things are reasonably priced for what they are. The 365 store brand products are often an actual bargain. My main complaint is that the selection here, particularly of imported and specialty products, just isn't nearly as good as at many of the flagship Whole Foods locations in other cities. Some of the LA locations, the Yorkville store in Toronto, or the new store in Gowanus make this Whole Foods look like an Aldi in comparison.
