This isn't the best pool party in Vegas, but certainly not the worst one that I've been to. Although we were staying at the Venetian, it was literally a maze to get here and back to our hotel room. TAO Beach is located on the 4th floor (same floor as the Canyon Ranch and Spa) right outside of the main Venetian pool. There are several bouncers standing around in TAO Beach polos guiding you in the right direction.
We booked a daybed here for Carnage on 6/19 (one of the worst DJs I've ever seen live, but that's not the point...) located right in front of the DJ booth. The table service was top notch throughout our time there. Our drinks were consistently poured, we repeatedly received ice cold towels to cool off with (it was 105+ degrees!), frozen fruits, and our bouncer was quick to dismiss people who were climbing on top of our daybed. Their cocktails (you can buy an individual glass, pitcher, or a huge bowl) were amazing, especially the mojito one! The pool is probably the smallest out of all of the dayclubs and I didn't step into it because there were so many people inside packed like sardines. Towels are provided as you enter the dayclub. If you're going in as general admission, good luck finding an open spot to place all of your belongings -- it gets crowded quick!
Overall, we had an "A-OK" experience here and I would consider coming back depending on who the DJ is for the day.
