This restaurant is crazy good. It's classic Mexican food with really high quality ingredients and a clear attention to detail by the chef. The plates come out piping hot, the refried beans are incredible, the cheese is real cheese, the lettuce and tomato garnish is so fresh... the salsa tastes like a grandma made it after years and years of experimenting with recipes... resulting in the most delicious salsa that is not too spicy but spicy enough.
The restaurant is also decorated beautifully. Not sure if it was custom designed, or was an effort by the owner - but it turned out gorgeous. No matter what time of day you go there, it feels like an intimate night time dinner in another place. Even the women's bathroom is designed beautifully (I love checking out restaurant bathroom design..)
Definitely a great date night spot as the food is delightful and the ambiance is spot on. A locally owned gem.
