This morning I booked an appointment for my wife and I to look at a used 2014 Toyota Tacoma around 6 pm. We arrived and asked for the closing manager, as instructed by the sales person I booked the appointment with. He came out, met us, and immediately informed us that the truck had already been sold. But, they just happened to have another Tacoma on the lot. I was passed off to a sales person, who walked me out to the other truck, just so we could see that it was $7000 more than the truck I originally wanted to look at. To his credit, he didn't argue with us when we informed him that it was outside of the price range we were looking for, or that we weren't interested in a mid-sized Chevrolet instead. In retrospect, it was seems very obvious that they knew well before hand that the truck was already sold well before I got there. Instead of calling me and informing me, they instead wasted a good chunk of our time (it was a 30-45 minute drive through traffic for both of us) just to see if I would be willing to buy another truck at a much higher price. It concerns me that they as so brazen in displaying how little my time our valued versus how much our money is. I can't speak to the experiencing of purchasing a vehicle here, but this does speak to the culture they've built with their sales team. I would not recommend this dealership to any other potential customers.
