Lets see....
Had someone come by my house to offer us the 1000 Mbps/1Gig internet service for a pretty good deal. I decided to give century link a go and we scheduled a date for the service tech to come out and get us wired up.
My 1st appointment date rolled around and no one showed up (no call either). A few weeks later I get a random call that said my set up date was set as 4/3, which I never agreed to.
I had to call in to get the service re-scheduled for 4/5. The tech was supposed to be out here today (2nd appointment date) between 8am to 12pm, but no one showed up (no call received). I called century link customer service and they said everything was done correctly, but for some odd mysterious reason, the dispatchers didn't get notified. Awesome!
I am now in the process of cancelling my account. It's been about a month and Century Link can't seem to figure out how to send a tech to my house to get the services installed and my patience has run dry.
For people debating between Century Link and Cox, go with Cox. Cox sucks but doesn't suck as bad as Century Link. I would say that Century Link is almost as bad as Xfinity/Comcast from the Bay Area/CA
