BUYER BEWARE: let me just start off my saying my experience was great when I bought my car. BUT I was convinced to buy the appearance protection plan that is supposed to cover the paint on the car as well as the interior if they are to get damaged. Well the paint on my car is fading away (I've had this car for less than 2 years and the paint looked perfect when I bought it) and I filed a claim to get my car repainted. They sent me to a detailing shop 45 minutes from where I live only to be told they couldn't help me (they were super nice) because they don't repaint cars they just detail. Ok so I called the claims department again and they say that they will wait for the report from the detailing place and in the meantime to send them pictures of the damage which I already did when I first submitted the claim. Finally weeks go by and I call to follow up and they say they will get back to me by monday(this was on a Friday). Finally on Monday I get some short email stating that the paint damage isn't covered by my appearance protection plan. HAHA WHAT? Why did I spend the extra money then?!?! DONT BUY THE PROTECTION PLAN!!! ITS A SCAM!!!!!
