We love this place so much we took some engagement photos here! Seriously. My fiancé and I met at this bar three years ago and we've since moved out of Shadyside but we continue to come back!
The bar itself is my favorite part. The atmosphere is Gastropub/a little hipster downstairs. The bartenders are always friendly and quick to take care of you. My favorite part: the beer selection. If you enjoy craft beer this is the place for you! Also, nice sized TVs to watch sports while you drink a few or eat some brunch!
The food: LOVE the grilled cheeses. I usually get the Fried Green Tomato and I'm never disappointed. Brunch is also amazing. My favorite is the chicken and waffles for sure, but the Breakfast Club is also delicious and super hearty.
You won't regret bringing a group to The Yard or just planning it as your next date night to grab a few!
