I usually go to karaoke with my friends at the karaoke place beside twister, which is Yonge Karaoke, so we decided to try out a different place. As soon as we walked in the staff at the counter greeted us and seemed pretty friendly. He also answered all of our questions confidently. Again, no problem with any of this. The problem is... Once you go into your room to start, you choose from two huge books. One where it's organized by artist and another by song. The selection was very large, yes. It did take a LOT of time to choose, though. It's just a little old fashion and very time consuming as you have to look at each code and input it into the machine. Not only that, I realized a lot of the karaoke versions of the songs were taken off from youtube and will most likely have background vocals. This was a huge turnoff for me. On top of that, every time we sang, the sound that came out was always really pitchy and there were times when the microphone in our room would not work. And lastly, there was no place where the the remaining time was displayed so when the machine shut down, we believed it was just another one of those pretty frequent moments where the system froze. It was not. All in all, it was just all really bad and I would not go there again.
